This PCI bus single 9-pin serial port with 16650 UART supports data throughput rates up to 460.8 Kbps (including 230.4 Kbps). It adds one accelerated COM port to any PCI-equipped PC and saves valuable resources for other expansion cards. Because of its PCI architecture, the card automatically selects the next available IRQ and COM addresses, and is capable of sharing IRQs with other PCI devices.

This card includes an integrated 32-byte FIFO buffer with software-configurable Tx/Rx triggers, 4X clock, and on-board flow control which guarantee errorless data transmission even at top speed. With easy plug-and-play installation, it automatically selects the next available IRQ and COM address - just plug in and go!
