Won't work with wireless keyboard/mouse
Nice compact KVM switch, with a few shortcomings.
I do wish it could also be switched by a button on the unit, in addition to the keyboard hotkeys.
My biggest disappointment is that it won't work with a wireless keyboard or wireless mouse. Seems like it should-- the little USB receiver for the keyboard and/or mouse goes right into the USB port, the same as a wired connection. But it just does not work. I resorted to using a wired keyboard, and it works fine, but it has left my wireless keyboard useless to me, which I don't like.

Less Filling, Works Great!
Bought this so I could switch between a work computer and my home computer with the same monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. Out of the box it works perfect, had a little bit of an issue getting it to use secondary commands (decided to use Ctrl-Ctrl to switch boxes instead of the default), but once I rebooted the boxes and the unit, it worked perfectly.

Highly Recommended ! Great Product
Took a reset to get it to work but that was probably operator error . Also Tested and used Logitech Nano MX wireless mouse in the usb mouse port of the switch and works flawlessly . Hot Key [scroll lock] is awesome , no push button switch to change to other pc . Enables the ability to hide the switch .

Great KVM for the price!
I just started to work from home exclusively with two different computers, and I needed a KVM to switch between them. I always wanted a reason to have a KVM switch, and now I have one! This item fits the bill nicely and is priced reasonably.

Worked as advertised
Used to connect a Geovision CCTV Digital video recorder and a Windows XP computer to the same monitor, speakers and a Dell wireless USB keyboard/mouse combo. Worked prefectly. Took less than 5 minutes to install and configure.

Easy to use, works very well.
Works great and allows me to switch seemlessly from one computer to another. It does require all UCB accesories but that was a minor inconvenience. Great value for the cost.

Works great. Use a very basic keyboard.
Failed using a keyboard with special keys. Once I switched to a simple keyboard, it never failed.

Yes, it would work with a PC and a Mac.

When you switch, do you hear the USB unplug/plug sounds (hub-based) or does the switch constantly emulate a generic keyboard and mouse so the computers aren't aware of any switching (emulated)?
You hear the USB plug on the first connection. After that initial connection, you would not hear the USB plug/unplug sounds.

How do you switch back to the scroll lock key? The keyboard & mouse stopped working on one computer, and I can't figure out why -- I switched the 'switch key' to be CTRL twice, and want to try resetting it. Thanks
You would hit [Num Lock] + [-] then push [t]. This should change the hotkeys back to Scroll Lock, scroll lock.

The default switch hotkey is double tapping scroll lock, however, is there any way to reprogram the hotkey? Certain keyboards no longer have a scroll lock key.
You can change the hotkey sequence to tapping the CTRL key twice. You would do this by pressing Num Lock + (-), then hit letter (t).
