I have purchased these on more than one occasion...
Since most new monitors use HDMI ports, and our Dell port replicators only have DVI and DisplayPort, I need these cables for almost every laptop I deploy.

Buyer Beware! Unidirectional Cable
This cable will only work in the direction described in the specifications. It will not work reversed (HDMI output to DP++ input). Buyer beware!

Ask your tablet manufacturer what type of cable is required. If it is a Displayport out, then it may work. It is very unlikely however that this will be supported on your tablet.

Does this product allow HDMI output to DisplayPort input?
Product 54327 will work connecting the DisplayPort connection to the source end and the HDMI connector to the Display. It will not work reversed.

This device connects the DisplayPort output of a computer to the HDMI input of a HDTV or projector. If this model supports that, then it will function.
