Rated 4 out of 5 by audioman from works Don't have a big track record with this, but it works. Have an installation with four monitors. Problem report that the monitors were unstable. Installer used cheapest DP-HDMI cables he could find. One monitor loses connection, all four blink out. Isolated problem cable, replaced with this, all good so far. About a week in. Tried to find reputable cable and this seems to be it.

Will THIS cable WORK WITH A Samsung galaxy tab a WITH camera capability.

Ask your tablet manufacturer what type of cable is required. If it is a Displayport out, then it may work. It is very unlikely however that this will be supported on your tablet.

Does this product allow HDMI output to DisplayPort input?

Product 54327 will work connecting the DisplayPort connection to the source end and the HDMI connector to the Display. It will not work reversed.

This will provide audio as well, as long as your video card Displayport connection supports audio.

Thsi will not support a HDMI source to Displayport Display. However our product 54179 will support a HDMI Source to Displayport Display.
