Compliant to USB 3.0 SuperSpeed specifications; connect your SuperSpeed USB peripheral for TEN TIMES the transmission rate of USB 2.0!
• Carries USB 3.0 data signals and power • Up to 4.8 Gbps bandwidth • Shielded to protect from interference
(1) USB 3.0 A Male
(1) USB 3.0 B Male
Just plug-and-play for hard drive enclosures, printers, modems, cameras, and other SuperSpeed USB peripherals. This cable provides a transfer rate of up to 4.8 Gbps when connected with a USB 3.0 compliant host and device. Foil and braid shielding reduces EMI/RFI interference and twisted pair contruction helps reduce crosstalk thus ensuring SuperSpeed, error-free data transfer. Protective overmolded connector is color-coded blue to highlight USB 3.0 connectivity compatibility.
Please Note: USB 3.0 (4.8 Gbps) provides TEN TIMES the capability of USB 2.0 (480 Mbps); it also provides up to 900 mA power instead of the 500 mA available with USB 2.0. Type A connections are backwards compatible to USB 2.0 and even USB 1.1. Finally, while USB 2.0 cables will work with USB 3.0 devices (at the lower USB 2.0 transmission speed and power), you won't enjoy the SuperSpeed of USB 3.0 without connecting with USB 3.0 cables!
For more detailed specifications, please read this. • PC and Mac® compatible • USB 3.0 technology provides 4.8 Gbps • Backwards compliant with high speed USB 2.0 devices (480 Mbps) as well as USB 1.1
• Great for applications requiring SuperSpeed data bandwidth. • In order to receive the benefits of the USB 3.0 specification, the source and device must be USB 3.0 compliant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by gene from High QualityI can't comment of the technical aspects of this cable, but it appears to be well made and I have experienced no problems. I use it to connect my tower computer, which is located on the floor, to a USB hub which sits on my desk. Everything is working great. Its nice to have the hub on the desk located next to my monitor.

Can I buy 3.0 USB wall plates, unions, M to F cables and more relating to 3.0 and if you can how does one connect 3.0 b M to 2.0 b F in this case a printer.
Asked by: derek
At this time we do not carry USB 3.0 wall plates. We currently only offer USB 3.0 cables and hubs. You can connect USB 3.0 cables into USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0 cables into USB 3.0 ports, however, you can not connect USB 3.0 cables into USB 2.0 ports. Please note that USB 2.0 cables connected in USB 3.0 ports will operate at USB 2.0 specifications.
