The cable lock utilizes the fixing screw which appears above or below the HDMI port of a HDMI device, such as a HDTV or Blu-ray player. Does this have a lock for both ends?
You could use one of these at each end.

Could I use it to lock two cables together? A male and female coupling by connecting two of the the couplers with a nut and screw and mounting this combination to one of the ends?
This product is not designed to be used in that manner.
