Product Description

The ultimate controller for high definition and progressive scan video sources, this selector routes any of six source devices to each TV/monitor or one source to both TV/monitors. Connect all your HDTV products including DVD players, satellite receivers, cable set-top boxes, or gaming systems, and use the remote control or front panel buttons to watch any picture on any two plasma, CRT, LCD or projection televisions with complete independence!

This matrix switch offers six component video inputs, six stereo audio inputs, and six optical digital audio TOSLINK inputs. It will switch all these inputs to either of the two outputs, with the audio following video. The matrix switch also comes with an infrared remote control that features discrete commands to make programming complex macros into your universal remote control system a snap. Compatible with all interlaced or progressive scan analog component video signals. Now you can take control of your system and watch what you want where you want, and do it with no compromises!

For your convenience, the AC/DC Adapter (#98012) and the Remote Control (#98013) are available for this item. To order replacement parts, please call us at 1-800-506-9607.

Please Note: This unit does not convert L/R audio to TOSLINK or TOSLINK to L/R audio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must if you use component video This device is a must for anyone who uses component video. My receiver only has a couple component inputs yet I have a PS2, XBOX360, Wii, an HTPC, Cable Box, and an Oppo DVD player that I need to connect. This thing handles them all in one box then I just use one input to connect this to my receiver. On top of that, this allowed me to finally get a projector for truly big screen action while keeping everything hooked up to my TV as well. Although I dont really use the feature too often, one of the coolest things about this is the matrix functionality so I can have a DVD going on one display and be able to play an XBOX game on another all while having everything neatly tucked away in my cabinet. If I decide I want to switch it up or change inputs its as simple as the touch of a button.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I use this device to select inputs in our video production studio. It allows me to preview a live feed from the camera on our large lcd screen and our capture device simultaneously. This allows us to get better focus and lighting settings using a large monitor. Then I can also use it to send a feed from our Blu-Ray player to either the large screen or capture device or both. Very handy device and rock solid quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Product I used the product to setup a cable box, DVD player, and 2.1 channel HT system between a TV in a living room and a kitchen TV. The component matrix was very easy to install with all the equipment, it fits well on the equipment rack it was installed within, and for the past two or so weeks, there have been zero problems with how it works. I would recommend this to both the Home Theater installer looking for this type of solution and to the regular customer who wants something easy to use and hook-up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again & again. Switching from a number of cameras with the touch of a finger, the price was outstanding. So far after a number of uses I have not found one single thing that I don't like about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great with retro consoles Super happy with this purchase. All my retro video game consoles (Super NES, Sega genesis, etc) I recently switched out SCART cables for component cables by HD Retrovision for convenience. With this switch box, I am able to display my super nes on my big screen through my scaler, and my Sega genesis to my CRT, or have both TVs displaying my 32x or Sega Saturn at once. And I can change anything output I want on either TV with a simple button press on a remote. Highly recommend this for your component video needs.

Is there a way to order an additional remote control?

Asked by: Zack
A little extra info when you call to order: The replacement remote is $20 and they will charge upwards of $12 to ship it. I was told that they charge extra for shipping when you place a phone order.

We would like to use this switch to demo sound bars for televisions. We would only be using the optical inputs to do this but the switching direction will be reversed. We would supply one optical input to one of the switches outputs and send it to one of the 6 inputs, this would turn the inputs into outputs. Each optical output would connect to a soundbars input. Will the optical switching on this unit work in either direction? Thanks
Asked by: Jerry
Unfortunately, this product will not work in reverse. This will only allow 6 inputs to 2 outputs.

Do both outputs on this have to be the same signal, or can you individually select a different signal for each output?

Asked by: Robert
Each output can have its own source.
