saved me money
This was exactly what I needed. The speakers for my Dell flat panel lcd tv died. I was able to by a set of inexpensive speakers normally used for a computer and connect them to the television. Saved a lot of money.

Great way to adapt L/R output
I have a Bose Lifestyle system that does not have a 3.5mm output. This adapter works perfectly to port the L/R sound output to a headphone/PC 3.5mm jack.

This item was precisely what I needed to connect existing analog headphones, which had been used with a TV with a headphone jack, to connect to a new TV which has an Optical Audio Out jack (but no headphone jack) It was not available at any of the 'name' retail electronics stores that I visited. Service was professional and timely.
