Rated 5 out of 5 by Jped from Works as advertised I walk on a treadmill in the early morning and usually watch a DVR recorded show. With the 25' extension I'm able to use earphones and keep the rest of the family sleeping while I work out. I like the fact that it's a plain and simple cable, not some battery operated, wireless, bulky headphones. With the extra length I able to tuck this out of the way, under baseboards, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by John from I will purchase again in the future I needed an extension cable for my entry door alarm speaker at my convenience store. The available length was exactly what I needed and the price was well worth it. The quality of this cable has been consistant with other purchases from Cables To Go. I will not hesitate to use them for other purchases in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by No sound guy from Hello stereo! I purchased this extension cable to be able to listen to audio from my computer which is down in the basement. The package arrived on time and in good condition. I have been using the cable for several weeks now and it works as expected. I'm very happy with the quality as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Troglobite from Everything works I needed an extension audio cable to go from the laptop to the amplifier in the gym. I measured the distance and ordered the next longest cable. It worked. Duh! The best part was that it got here the next day and I didn't have to drive around to get it. Worth the S&H.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Slikpapa from Does exactly what I wanted. I use this wire to extend the connection I have for my MP3 player attached to my car radio. It was the shortest length I could find anywhere and it works just as it is suppose to. I have experienced no loss of sound or power and would buy this wire again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dave from Product was exactly what it says it was. This is going to be used to connect some remote controls to my sound system in my house boat. I haven't had a chance to connect the system yet , but am sure it will work. this cable will save me a lot of time soldering connectors together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by knothead from Does What it is designed to do very well I bought a new set of stereo speakers for my desk top and wouldn't you know it the cable was too short to reach my PC. I bought this cable to fill the void and it does the job perfectly. Not much else to say. Great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Debbi from Relatively consistent sound quality This is my 2nd brand, and I must admit the sound quality is consistently better. However, with one system it is hard to trouble shoot the inconsistent sound - could be the stereo connector or movement of the longer cord.

Rated 5 out of 5 by curley from Great value - perfect fit added to a motorcycle audio system - the cable must be shielded as "noise" from the bike's engine and charging system does not interfere - music and voice come thru static free

25' 3.5 mm M/F Stereo Extension Cable. What is the maximum length that can be used for un-amplified speakers?
Asked by: Anonymous
For non-amplified speakers the shorter the length the better. The 3.5mm audio signal can go a maximum of 150 ft, but in that instance, amplification would be recommended.

I was looking for a cable to extend a Canon DSLR camera shutter remote which connects to the camera by a 3.5mm jack. Is there a reason to believe using this audio cable would not work in that way?
Asked by: Dan
No they will in this manner as well they are not solely for audio purpose. I would check with Canon to see how far that signal would travel as well before using a extension.
