Convert a PS/2 compatible keyboard/mouse to a USB port
(1) USB-A Male
(2) PS/2 Female
Product Description
This USB to PS/2 adapter is the ideal way to connect PS/2 devices on USB systems. The adapter will connect a PS/2 keyboard or mouse through a USB port from a computer or USB hub. No power adapter is needed. No software required, just plug and play for easy installation.
Please note: This is a passive adapter and is designed to be used with PS/2 devices which support both PS/2 and USB signal types. If the PS/2 device does not support USB signals, then use our USB to PS/2 Adapter Cable, 32185.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Carl from Not serving my purposeBought 2 of these to connect a new USB equipped computer to an existing KVM switch that has PS2 cables on it for 4 computers to run on one monitor, keyboard and mouse. The computer refuses to recognize the keyboard or mouse properly. So for now, I'm stuck with an extra keyboard and mouse to utilize the new computer.

Will this adapter work with other ps/2 devices than a keyboard or mouse? We have hand held scanners that are ps/2 and need to connect them to machines only having usb ports. I have tried a couple of different(cheap) ps/2 to usb connectors and they aren't working. They seem to only work with keyboards and mice. C2G 27277 PS2 Female to USB Male Adapter
Asked by: Craig
The 27277 is indeed only compatible with PS/2 mice and keyboards. If you would like to use other PS/2 devices, please consider our part 32185.

Will this USB Male to PS2 Female Adapter work with an integrated KVM 2 port switch?...Everything works except the mouse.
Asked by: Hey You
This adapter will adapter a PS/2 mouse or keyboard to a USB port. So if the KVM has a USB input and you want to connect a PS/2 mouse, this adapter should work for you.
