Rated 5 out of 5 by from An essential adaptor for a MacBook Used to connect a MacBook to a large screen TV for computer club members to see the computers images. Images are sharper on a TV than on a projector and screen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Watch Out! Make sure that you're converting a digital signal into a digital signal. I bought this item thinking it could convert an analog signal (VGA) to digial (DVI). I was wrong.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Did Not do what I expected True DVI and VGA are not compatible formats and this device did nothing to help that. I had expected it to convert the DVI signal to a usable VGA signal but it needs to be converted before arriving at the the DVI end or after exiting the VGA end before a VGA device can use the signal. This only allows the two types of cable to be connected.

Does your company sell a 20 foot long DVI female to VGA male cable? What is the cost? And part number?

Asked by: Dave
We do not have a 20 foot length cable in that configuration, however, we do carry part 27598 that is 24.6 feet (7.5 meters) long.

Can I use this for my computer that only has a vga output for the monitor, to send the video to my tv? I already have an adapter to go from DVI to HDMI on my tv. My computer does not have a hdmi, or a DVI output though

Asked by: Anonymous
Unfortunately this adapter can only be used for analog signals. This will not be able to send the signal to the HDMI input on the TV. For this application I would recommend our part number 40010.
