Product Description
For fast Ethernet computer networks that require bandwidth-intensive voice, data, or video distribution applications. Meets all Cat5e TIA/EIA standards, and drastically reduces both impedance and structural return loss (SRL). Each of the individual pairs is bonded together to help maintain the twist-spacing throughout the line right up to the termination point. Constructed from high quality copper cable, this design minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. Available in a variety of colors to easily color-code your network installation.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel-KKL from Just works, competitively good pricingUpgraded from tube tv to LCD wall screen and HD DirectTv, which offered additional features when plugged into Internet. Already wired extension phone several years before for Tivo, so knew relatively easy basement wiring route. Measured twice, ordered once. CablesToGo was my first stop, regular pricing was reasonable, specials even better--I have flexibility in color choices. Likely set for the next 5-7 years of technology.

Okay, when or what application do you use a "CROSSOVER" cabling vs. "UTP" cabling?
Asked by: Lord Vanski
Normal applications will call for a straight through patch cable. A crossover cable is used to connect 2 like devices. Such as directly networking one computer to another. Or connecting 2 switches together.
