When connecting serial ATA devices to your motherboard or host controller, you want a permanent solution. The last thing you need is a cable that could fatigue, or even fail over time, because of bending or stress occurring right at the critical connection. Our angled connectors deliver the cable at a more desired angle and are fortified to keep the cable lined up straight. So you'll see less cable bend and fatigue for longer cable life.

SATA 3.0 compatible with transfer rates up to 6 Gbps! This serial ATA cable is especially designed to handle the differential signals implemented in today's technology, while delivering increased throughput and reduced data packet loss.

With our 7-pin, 1-device cable, you'll receive higher data transmission rates, reduced crosstalk, and improved signal integrity.

Plus, this cable reduces overheating and saves internal space within the CPU unit for easy movement when adding or removing hard drives, PCI cards or other adapters. Our serial ATA cable can minimize clutter, increase airflow and maximize your potential transfer rate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Check your motherboard connection Check your motherboard and verfiy that the "key" is in the correct position. I would have liked to use these cables as they look slick, but my motherboard is configured as such that they would point down instead of up. Too bad. I did not purchase, and can't until they offer right angle with either "key". Otherwise seems to be a nice product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A life saver! Needed a cable that comes off to the left of the drive so my cable management would come off without a hitch. This worked perfectly! Yes, it does cover the power connector, so if your power cable comes straight off the drive it won't work, but if you have a cable with 90 degree connectors (so the wire comes off the top or bottom of the drive) this works just fine. I only wish this came in black and that it had a locking clip.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Side Connector not for hard drive I purchased 2 of these cables to improve airflow in the hard drive cage of my case. Unfortunately, the connector, if plugged into the back of a hard drive, points to the left and blocks the power connector. So the side connector is only useful if plugged into a motherboard. The picture from Cables-to-Go does not show this. You can't see the socket pattern on the side-pointing connector.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from @ John from Albany Actually, the fourth photo clearly shows the socket pattern on the side-pointing connector (I wouldn't have bought it if it didn't). A right angle power connector will clear the right angle SATA connector with room to spare.
