Rated 5 out of 5 by John from Second purchase excellent survice We use the cables purchased for remote vehicle and wind tunnel testing. The cables are used to hook up to our data aquisition system to our lap tops any where from 25 to 50 feet away. We purchased 3 cables a few yers ago and just purchased 6 more due to use and expanding requirements. No issues with any of the cables to date <-- Even with a lot of abuse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susan from Cable works fine The buttons/controls on one of the chillers we use to cool a laser broke, so we learned that we could control it via computer RS232 connection. Since the chiller is across the room from our computers, we needed a long cable. This one is the right length and seems to work fine. Saved us from expensive service from the manufacturer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charlie from Serial Cables I had tried several brands of serial cables with poor results because they were not adequately shielded. The cables I purchased from Cables To Go are so well shielded that they solved all of the crosstalk. data loss and interference problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by M1 from Through the wall with it... I ran this cable through a wall and above a drop ceiling. This was used as an extension to a 75' cable and there seems to be negligible degradation in signal strength. It's a good cable.

What is the pin-out here, I'm looking for the following pinout [pin 1 to 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3, so on upto 9 to 9] is this the case. where do you go to see the pinout of these cables?? I sthis the same as a null modem cable??
Asked by: Tim
This would be all lines straight through. So it has pin 1 to 1, 2 to 2, up to 9 to 9. It is not the same as null modem. Null modem would be a different pinout.
