For fast Ethernet networks that require bandwidth-intensive voice, data, or video distribution applications. Meets all Cat5e TIA/EIA standards, and drastically reduces both impedance and structural return loss (SRL). Each of the individual pairs is bonded together to help maintain the twist-spacing throughout the line right up to the termination point. Constructed from high quality copper cable, this design minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. The molded, snagless boot prevents unwanted cable snags during installation and provides extra strain relief. Available in a variety of colors to easily color-code your network installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Selection and Prices There are a great number of companies that produce Ethernet cabling. Let's face it -- they are practically a commodity. What led me to buy from C2G was the fact that they had a nice selection of colors in multiple lengths. For this project, we had acquired another small company that had an existing network -- calling it a spaghetti network would have been a compliment! We decided to bring in all new equipment to avoid having to remediate and integrate into our network overnight. Having unusual (purple) colored Ethernet cables for our new equipment made distinguishing the old from the new. Fortunately, C2G had multiple lengths of purple in stock making the process much simpler!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fairy pipes. Ok fine, I will write about the fantastic cable that I bought. It moves electrons like nobody's business. I have never seen the little pixies move so fast. The plugs on either end were well shaped and fit right in the sockets like they were made for it. I did cut it up into pieces, and i would have loved to see a little more dye used in the coloring of the individual wires but that's the only constructive criticism I can muster. Thank goodness I found this cable for a good price. Seriously, thanks for making this an easy transaction and for prompt delivery. Could have done without the second email to rate and review but hey I'm a sucker and it worked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality cables for important use! We purchased these versus our own bulk cables to use at our data center. The data center is a short drive from the office, but to suffer downtime while we travel is unacceptable. A sampling of CTG's cables made it to my office along with some other brands and these ones were my first choice. The connectors on the ends are of high quality, and they come in an assortment of colors and lengths which help organization and also keep the rack looking neat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! You can't make one better This particular cable is being used in a high end gaming environment. It works Flawlessly. I also could not make one better or less expensive. I also have a 300' cable from these folks,it has for years and still is working perfectly in a high end print environment!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cat 5 is a catch Needed to replace 30 ft. cables that were supplied with Aviom IN-EAR system for musicians and vocals at church. So far the need is met well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Great in our Show Booth I needed this for a conference at which my company was exhibiting in a 20' by 20' booth. The cable ran under the carpet to the other computer station. The snagless connectors worked great - no missing pieces on the ends! This item went from 35' to 50'; I wish they had a size in between. Other than that, I highly recommend this cable.

Our pin out for every category cable on our site is 568b. We use this standardized category pin out for all category cables outside of crossover cables.

My room is far away from the router and I might have to take the ethernet cable outside and through my upstairs window would the cold have any effect on the cable, or my connection, or any interference with the connection?

Asked by: Jordan
I would not think the cold work affect the cable. I would be more concerned with the sunlight or rain/snow. The cable is not outdoor rated. There are specific cable that have an outdoor rated jacket. Unfortunately, we do not carry outdoor rated Cat5e cables.
