Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good response It was what I needed at the time. Old reciept printer system that needed a data cable that was long enough to get where it needed to be. Nothing bad to say at all about the cable, the printing system? That's a different story...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product and Vendor I made the purchase for my model railroad. The cable connects the controller plugs to the base power supply of my DCC controller and are less expensive than what is offered by the DCC manufacturer and are offered in better lengths that fit my requirements.

Questions & Answers

What is difference between RJ11 & RJ12? -- package that I have for a 6 connector modular plug says it works with RJ11/RJ14 but it is 25ft -- too long for what I need. Will this RJ12 7ft work?

Asked by: BR
RJ11 generally has six positions and four connections (6P4C) in the connector and is mainly used for phone communications. RJ12 usually has six positions and six connectors (6P6C) and is generally used for specialized phone systems. Please verify the wiring and requirements of the equipment you are connecting.

Is this cable RJ12 on both sides, a 6-wire flat cable in between with one RJ12 lookup and the other RJ12 looking down? or both RJ12s looking up?

Asked by: Robin
This is a silver satin 6 conductor, 6 pin connector.
