One Cable did the job, almost!
Problem? How to connect my computer, router, BD player, Direct TV DVR, and TV , in adjoining rooms, to the Internet.
Solution:
Used the 50 foot Ethernet as a run along the baseboard (in living room) around door framing (2 doors) to adjoining bedroom to router, and computer.
Run in bedroom was high on ceiling/ wall construction point. Dropped down in corner to connect with the router, computer. At the living room end of the Ethernet, I put a Linksys hub and connected the three patch cables to the items in the problem comment. Now all connected to Internet. Works like a charm! Nice cables made the installation not really too visible, unless you are a sky watcher. Satisfied all around!

Just works, competitively good pricing
Upgraded from tube tv to LCD wall screen and HD DirectTv, which offered additional features when plugged into Internet. Already wired extension phone several years before for Tivo, so knew relatively easy basement wiring route. Measured twice, ordered once. CablesToGo was my first stop, regular pricing was reasonable, specials even better--I have flexibility in color choices. Likely set for the next 5-7 years of technology.
