Be careful or you may bust these
These are made well but you really need to be careful when clamping them or they will slip and then the pins bend and the locks break off but I just may be to in-experienced with them.

Hello, I have a Toshiba 47-pin hard drive that I took out of an old laptop (don't know if it's PATA or SATA or how to tell). I want to connect it via USB to my current laptop for a one-time download of the data. It looks like there's a female USB jack on this connector (50-pin Female IDC Flat Ribbon Connector). Is that true? Would I just need to push this connector onto the pins of the hard drive and then use a male to male USB cable to connect the hard drive to my current laptop? TIA
Most likely the hard drive has 44 Pins. Our adapter cable for using USB to a 44 Pin Hard Drive connecor would be our part 30504.
