Rated 5 out of 5 by MikeM from Flawless Performance Needed a non-common connector to operate an extra display with my laptop. Previous cable used HDMI which was sensitive to movement of the laptop during use. The USB-C connector does not exhibit that problem. C2G is my go-to company for high performance cables.

Does these cables work in the reverse flow? Connected to a DisplayPort output and a USB-C input?

This is a directional cable and can only be used from USB-C Source to Displayport Input Display. This adapter utilizes the audio/video support built into USB Type-C ports to feed an audio/video signal to the DisplayPort input of a projector or display.

Will this work with a Mac Book Pro connecting into the "ATEN 2-Port USB 3.0 4K DisplayPort Dual-Display KVMP Switch"?

We can't really speak to other peoples products, but given this scenario, a conversion after a switch is less than ideal and I would doubt it would function properly if at all.
