Do I have to have 3.0 USB port or 3.0 speed on my computer now to use this SuperSpeed Hub from TruLink? In other words, if my present computer only has 2.0 capability, this new hub won't increase my USB speed, will it? How do you find out what your USB system is rated at? Thank you.
The USB 3.0 hub will not increase the USB speed on a laptop. It will work with the USB 2.0 ports but you will only get USB 2.0 speeds through the hub. You would check with you computer manufacturer on what USB speeds your computer supports.
