Perfect for small scale digital signage systems, the 8-Port UXGA Monitor Splitter/Extender, allows the video signal from a single VGA source to be distributed to up to eight monitors while maintaining vivid picture quality at a video resolution of up to 1600x1200. Though powerful, this splitter is easy to use; simply connect the cables and the power supply, and it is ready to go! There is no software required, or complicated interface cards to install. This monitor splitter not only distributes, but also boosts high resolution video signal up to 210 feet.

This splitter/extender includes power-saving mode, color-coded connectors for the input and outputs, durable all-metal housing, power and activity LED indicators. Also suitable for XGA, SVGA, VGA, and MultiSync® resolution monitors, this solution fit a wide variety of applications. Multiple units may be daisy-chained together to support even more outputs.

Please Note: The term "extender" refers to the product's ability to extend the distance of your cable runs to 210 feet. It does not imply that the product provides "extended desktop" functionality, or the ability to view a different video signal on each monitor. To add extended desktop capabilities to a computer, please consider a USB to Video Adapter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as Expected Worked like a Charm. I'm running 6 42" LCD Monitors off 1 PC in a Cluster. I just plugged them in to the Port Authority2 VSE and The image was perfect on all 6. The case is Metal and solid - power supply is an external Wall-Wort. It didn't include rack mount hardware - not needed for my project but would be an important note for other professional projects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised This unit works as advertised. We are using it to drive 6 monitors from a MAC running Powerpoint. The monitors display advertising. We have 2 monitors located up to 100 feet from the splitter and it works fine. We are going to buy a couple more of these for some more installations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from UXGA Splitter Used for Power Point We had a computer with a Power Point presentation. We needed it sent to a monitor for the speaker, as well as 100 ft away so the signal could then be sent to 4 additional monitors for the audience. This worked great.

Questions & Answers

Can this extend 8 outputs 210 feet EACH? Or 210 feet TOTAL?

Asked by: Anonymous
You can extend this up to 210 feet for each run by daisy-chaining additional splitters.

Is it possible to connect a single VGA in from a computer and then connect 8 VGA monitors and have it displayed as a single desktop screen spread across the 8 monitors?

Asked by: mike
This will NOT extend the monitors. This will ONLY duplicate the screen connected.
