Exactly the part I needed.
The old system was wired for S-Video - the new DVD player was not! This converter saved me a time consuming and expensive re-wiring job!

S-Video Female to RCA Male Adapter
Have new Smart TV and an older A/V system that only provided S-Video out cable for On Screen Display for A/V setup/changes. Used this device to connect the S-Video cable to an RCA video input my TV had. Worked just fine and I was able to do everything with my A/V setup/changes I wanted.
