The AV Controller is a full-featured in-wall solution that is perfect for easy control of all classroom or conference room audio/video equipment; including up to two serial devices, such as a projector or display, a 12V DC triggered device, such as a projector screen or blinds and IR devices such as a DVD/Blu-ray player, document camera and other equipment. Do you need an adapter from RS232 to HDMI for example or does it come with said adapter?

This controller is used to control devices that have rs232. This can control any device that is compatible with HEX RS232 controllable devices.

Is there a way to hook two projectors up as well as the TruLink audio amp for sound?

Tried inserting hex for Casio XJ-H1750 projector. Manual says it communicates with ASCII. I saw in the database that C2G has a Casio XJ-H2600 already. Hex codes are the same. I'm assuming this has been verified to work with the projector. Anyway, I've ...

Always check the RS232 Cable you are using with your device and also use the switches on the side of the RS232 ports of the MCIA device.

When creating a new device. When you have serial connection do you use Hex (with brackets) or binary or ASCII?

Yes. You can use both IR and RS232 on a single program or button.

What labeled buttons come with this and are they customizable, either during setup or something that can be ordered?

If you scroll through the images for the AV controller on our site, you will see 2 button sheets. Those are the buttons available to put on the keyplate.
