Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've Got Sound! I ordered this to connect my new LG soundbar to my LED TV. Since my TV did not have an optical outlet, using my new soundbar was delayed. The TOSLINK Optical Digital Audio Converter did the job. It was simple to connect. It would have been nice to have the Coaxial cable included AND instructions to remind one to change TV audio settings once the product is connected. All in all, however, it did the trick!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real problem solver the converter really got me out of a jam. I was using the earphone jack to connect to my sound bar and something came loss inside the TV and it would no longer work. When the converter came, I plugged it in and it worked right away.

Hi, Few Questions: 1.Will it work out of box in India as we have 220-240V or do I need to buy a separate voltage converter (step down from 240V - 110V)? 2. Is this product under 85 watts? Thanks

I have a regular coaxial cable coming into a tv (Magnavox HD) that only has regular rca female cable inputs NO PLACED TO PLUG IN A COAXIAL CABLE

Asked by: Dick
This is an audio only adapter. You would need a device with a TV tuner inside of it like a cable box or possibly a DVD player to go from a coax (broadband) signal to a RCA composite video input. Unfortunately, we do not have a device like that.

Yes. This would work to convert digital coax audio to the digital optical input on that soundbar with the appropriate cables.
