Audio/video installations in educational and commercial settings often require plenum-rated cabling. Our plenum-rated speaker wire was engineered to overcome common challenges faced by installers. This wire is constructed from two color-coded 18 AWG twisted pair copper cables (one red, one black) to ensure easy identification. The speaker wire is twisted within a naturally colored jacket.
Each conductor is made from 7 strands of 26 AWG copper wire. CMP rating provides the fire protection required to run within walls and air plenums without the need for conduit. Wire shows footage markers for easy length tracking.

Just what I wanted
This wire worked great for my living room. The length was perfect. We pushed the wire under the carpet so that it would be out of sight, but it would have look OK anyways. The colored wires made it very easy to use. Great product!

Does this wire have solid copper conductors, or stranded? The pic is of solid conductors.

Can I run this cable up to 25Feet without having to worry about the wire getting to hot and causing possible fire issues? I want to use it for powering my rear speakers in wall. I would like to upgrade my system in the future to 200watt per channel amp...

The cable has a plenum rated jacket and can be run in-wall. You should not have any issues with a 25 ft run.
