The Ultima SXGA cable optimizes style, quality, and value in a cable specially designed for high performance. This y-cable splits the VGA signal to provide simultaneous display of the same picture. It is constructed from 3 individually-shielded 75 Ohm coax and 4 twisted pair cable to minimize crosstalk, noise, and other EMI/RFI interference.
An aluminum undermold shield assists in reducing interference to meet FCC requirements, while a 360° solder-to-connector shell and cable braid create an end-to-end shielding solution for a noise-free connection.
24k gold-plated connectors provide maximum corrosion resistance for error-free data transfer. Did not work well enough
Tried to use to split signal to VGA Computer monitor and to LCD Monitor/TV in another room. Both endpoints suffered from darker image and many ghosts. Very durable construction. Had to order a D/A instead to maintain britness and eliminate ghosted image.

Multiple monitor connector
This product is useful if you are using one VGA port and 2 monitors. It allows multiple monitors but not extended monitors.

Cable ruined two monitors
Bought the cable. Used it to run two monitors simultaneously. One of the monitors quit working within a day. Originally I thought the monitor just quit working but I hooked up the second brand new replacement monitor and it quit working within a day. Took the cable out of the system and the third brand new monitor has been working without any problems for two months. Still looking for a solution to run two screens at the same time. Tried to call Cables to Go and no answer or answering machine........

just short of the finish line.
The only negative comments I have about this article is that the branches were shorter than I had anticipated and that I had to shim the coupling nuts with washers to allow the depth necessary for the coupling screws to draw the connectors together for a good connection of the attached equiptment. Other than that I consider the article a good value for the price and I am satisfied with it. I used the item to split my video out from my computer to a monitor and a projector and it works fine.

The monitor Y-Cable works great!
I use the Y-Cable for my computer monitor and my LCD TV. Great reception on both. Love it. Nice to view tv shows through my computer without a lot of hassle.

Got the job done!
I use this cable in place of a video splitter box that cost about $50. The video splitter box required electric and there were display issues because cables did not stay tight. This cable has good solid connections. It does cause my monitor and my LCD projector to be not quite as bright as a direct connection, although I probably would not have noticed that at all if I had not had to use a direct connection before. It is a good solution.

Excellent Product; Wonderful Price!
I conducted a presentation using Apple Keynote on my iPad. The group was too large to have gathered around a small iPad, so this cable made it possible to connect to 2 large monitors at opposite ends of the Data Center Console while conducting the presentation from my iPad. I wasn't sure, for sure, it would work!
The cable itself did what I needed it to do,which was to use my tv as a secondary moniter!After hooking everything up though, I found there was a performance change on my moniter. Not the tv! The color scheme changed a bit! It wasnt crazy just distracting.The color black on my moniter turned a slight purple!Still it was the smplelist way to get the job done!

It works great!
The splitter cable works great. I have a docking station and in order to use my projector I would have to unplug my monitor. I needed a VGA splitter. I looked all over town and finally found it at Cables-to-Go. I'm very happy with the quality of the product and have used it many times. I can now use the projector while simultaneously using my monitor.

Great for 32 Flat Screen Mon. & Computer
The cable was able to restore my color & signal back to both my computer and 32" flat screen monitor. Being a novice I found the staff very helpful. Ease of ordering and fast turn around time. I just recieved my cable so can't comment on it's long term reliability but I sure it will be great.

Perfect for what I wanted
I use this so that I can work with a friend on preparing for an IRS test. We connect to my TV so he can watch the computer monitor and I can watch the TV. It is easy connect/disconnect because the cable crosses a doorway. I will also use it to look at photos on my 42" TV

Not for use with distant display
Be aware that this cable is not for use with a long cable. I wanted to use it with an LCD monitor close by and a plasma display in another room. No can do. Need to get an active splitter for longer distances.
I do think it's a good cable. Just not what I needed.

Didn't do the job
Wanted to share the image from my PC with a small flat screen television for Netflix etc. When plugged in on a 6 foot cord, one of the images is always a bit blurry. Don't use this cord if you're trying to split/share the image from a pc to television.
