Rated 5 out of 5 by from DIY Dock Substitute for iPod I bought this cable as an alternative to the pricey Bose iPod dock. It connects the iPod to the AUX jacks on the Bose, and the cable is long enough to reach my desk where I can control the iPod directly. No, the cable doesn't charge the iPod, allow it to be controlled with the Bose remote, or do anything fancy, but if you just want to take advantage of speakers you already own without spending a bundle, this is a great solution!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Performs well - just as I hoped! I needed a cable to play streaming audio on my Pre over my home sound system. This plugs right into the headphone jack on the phone and right into the RCA inputs on my home audio device. I do have to turn the volume all the way up on my phone to get decent output on the sound system, but tht could just be an issue with the power of my phone's output. Overall, it works great and is just what I needed.

The 50ft 3.5mm to dual RCA cable is the longest we have in our Velocity line. We also have 3.5mm to Dual RCA cables in white. We do have a 100ft cable in white (#40374).

How long are the cables when they split from the 3mm stereo male cable?

Is this cable acceptable for VIDEO application? It appears that it is for audio. I'm looking for a y connector cable used in VIDEO application. I'm told that there is an ohm difference in the proper cables.

This cable is only for audio signals. Unfortunately, we do not have a 3.5mm to RCA cable for video.
