Does this cable support Thunderbolt?

This will work with any port that will support Mini Displayport. Most ThunderBolt connections do however please check with your PC or MAC to be sure.

Will a 54422 work with the laptop HDMI as the output source and a display port as input device? I cannot seem to get this to work. If this is the wrong device, do you have a product that would work

This cable will only work in one direction. This is Displayport on the PC to HDMI monitor.
