The DisplayPort to VGA active adapter wall plate uses a patent pending design to offer a more secure installation option than traditional adapter dongles to convert a DisplayPort video output to VGA. The wall plate provides a secure mount within the wall and is not likely to be stolen or misplaced. Use the enclosed three meter DisplayPort cable to connect a PC to the wall plate for video signal transmission and power required for the wall plate's operation.

This adapter allows for PC content to be displayed on virtually any VGA-enabled display at resolutions of up to 1080p. This wall plate is designed for use with standard face plates. The wall box design provides shielding to protect against EMI/RFI.

Please Note: These wall plate adapters are active and must be used with the included three meter DisplayPort cable, which is specifically designed to support the power requirements of the wall plate. This wall plate will not work with standard DisplayPort cables. This DisplayPort adapter operates actively for use with most DisplayPort graphics cards. Active adapters will convert the DisplayPort signal to VGA/VGA/DVI signals.
