C2G DEBUTS HDMI OVER IP SOLUTION AT ISE
New Solution Bolsters Robust HDMI Offering
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEAmsterdam — February 11, 2020 — C2G, a brand of Legrand, further strengthened their HDMI connectivity offering by introducing an HDMI over IP solution today at the Integrated Systems Europe exhibition. This solution broadcasts 4K HDMI audio/video and control signals over a network to support video walls, digital signage systems, and point-to-point extensions—all with multiview & matrix support and powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE).

This HDMI over IP solution consists of an encoder (transmitter) that connects to an HDMI source and a decoder (receiver) that connects to an HDMI display, along with a controller and an available smartphone app—both that simplify the installation process and any updates or changes required while the system is in operation. H.264/H.265 technology allows this solution to broadcast at a 4K video resolution while only requiring 15Mbps of network bandwidth.
For a complete installation, mounting brackets are available for this solution as well as the required HDMI and network cabling—making C2G the preferred partner for all HDMI over IP installations. All these products are available for immediate sale through C2G distribution partners.
