The 3.5mm stereo audio extension cable is perfect for extending an existing 3.5mm cable in audio applications. This cable increases the distance from devices such as MP3 or CD players, tablets, speakers, PC/TV tuners and other audio devices, allowing the device to be placed in the most convenient location. Fully molded connectors provide excellent strain relief while nickel plated contacts provide superior connectivity and a durable, long life.

We bought these to use with our church's "Projector Carts". Each cart has an LCD powerpoint projector, VHS / DVD player and amplified speaker set. There is a 25 foot VGA cable on the cart to allow connection to a presenter's laptop. The VGA cable has an internal stereo connection at both ends, but this connection is only about a foot long. On some laptops the VGA external monitor / projector connection is in the back and the stereo output plug is in the front so the added 1.5 foot patch cord enables connection to virtually any laptop. These cords are reliable and cheap enough that we don't get too excited if one of them goes missing.
Great cable for the money.
