The HDMI over Coax Extender is the perfect solution for extending high definition HDMI audio and video signals up to 160 feet to support a point to point connection or to distribute those signals to up to sixteen displays for support of a small scale digital signage system. This solution utilizes a single RG6 coax cable to connect from transmitter to receiver and additional receivers may be cascaded to support additional displays. The system will auto adjust feedback, equalization and amplification allowing this solution to be customized to support any length.

Connect a Blu-ray player, laptop computer, gaming system or streaming media player, directly to the input of the transmitter with a HDMI cable. Use a single, industry standard, RG6 coax cable to connect an output of the transmitter to the input of a receiver. Each receiver features an RG6 output which may be used to support an additional receiver. Finally, connect a HDMI cable from the HDMI output of the receiver to an HDMI input on a HDTV, projector or monitor to supply high definition audio and video.

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A challenging technical issue handled I am reviewing this product because this is the replacement C2G provided when the previous product (which is the one I purchased) broke. Installation took about 20 minutes most of which was spent going from the upstairs to the basement. Once it started working it was flawless for about a year. One day it stopped. It was under warranty and C2G sent a replacement the day I reported the problem. Technical products, especially esoteric ones, are really only as good as the company backing them. C2G is a company that stands behind its products.

Will this work over typical copper clad, 60% braid, RG6 broadband drop cable, or does this need to be a proper bare copper, 95% braid, 3G-SDI baseband capable cable? The distance is about 100ft.

Asked by: Scott
This is designed to work with any RG6 cable.

So one transmitter and one receiver in package, thus you can only extend signal to one extra TV? To extend to multiple TV's do you need additional transmitters and receivers?

Asked by: Michael
That is correct. This will transmit one source signal to one display.
