The second generation of the TruLink USB to VGA Kit provides a powerful solution to stream video to a remote monitor, projector or television. Engineered to incorporate Ultra-Wide Band technology (UWB), this kit allows for in-room wireless connectivity up to 30 feet (line of sight) between the computer and display. Setup is simple and usage is seamless because all required video drivers are embedded in the host adapter. After initial software set-up, this device provides a plug and play experience for the user. Our new Quick Link feature allows additional users with host adapters to quickly connect to the device adapter with no additional steps required to “pair” the devices.
This highly secure wireless connection is ideal for classrooms, conference rooms or to display video content from your laptop to your home entertainment system. Two flexible device adapter mounting options are included, a desk mount and a wall mount.

Comments about Trulink® Wireless USB to VGA Kit:
This unit worked great for our conference room. We have a TV that we used to hook up with a VGA cable to a laptop now we can do it all wireless! I was a little worried about line of sight and whether the signal would good enough but so far no problems. We even have a small computer mounted under the conference table and we can use the device with it too!

Q:Does the unit have be laid on it side or does it have to stand vertically?
A:The orientation of the receiver unit is not critical to the function. Direct line of sight with no physical obstructions is critical to the function of this unit.
Q:Can we run multiple transmitters off one PC to multiple receivers? I assume not, but I have an attorney who wants to run 3-4 monitors off a single laptop wirelessly. Other option would be multiple laptops with multiple receivers in the courtroom, but would they interfere with eachother?
A:You are able to connect up to 3 transmitters to 3 receivers from a single computer. You will need to pair each set individually with the pairing utility that is available in the support tab.
Q:I need a second receiver having bought one of these units. I does not need to support sound, but needs to work with this transmitter. Do you sell such and what models can I buy that will be compatible with this application.
A:Unfortunately, one transmitter will only connect to one receiver. You cannot use 2 receivers with a single transmitter.
Q:Is it possible to get a second receiver so that the video can be displayed on a projector if the regular receiver is plugged into a video conference system?
A:Unfortunately this device will only connect from one transmitter to one receiver.
Q:will this work with my tablet?
A:Unfortunately the USB dongle for the 29356 would need to be a USB a Type. It would not work with your tablet.
Q:will this device work with a surface tablet, which runs windows rt?
A:No. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with that OS.
Q:Can I use three of these or will they interfere with each other?
A:You can use three within a small area. To prevent the transmitters from locating the unintended receiver, you can run the QuickLink and Pairing Utility software to ensure that the specific transmitter sends the signal to the intended receiver.
Q:Can a single transmitter be linked to multiple receivers, such as 1 PC outputting to 3 monitors for large conference rooms?
A:No, it is meant to be used with one transmitter for one receiver. Your best best would be to split the signal with a 4 Port VGA splitter, like our part 29504.
Q:Can I install this device on more than one laptop?
A:You can install the firmware and drivers on additional laptops, however, the USB transmitter can only be used on one computer at a time.
Q:Will this device work with an Asus Transformer Prime (Android Operating System)
A:No. It only works with the Windows or Mac OS.
