The second generation of the TruLink USB to VGA Kit provides a powerful solution to stream video to a remote monitor, projector or television. Engineered to incorporate Ultra-Wide Band technology (UWB), this kit allows for in-room wireless connectivity up to 30 feet (line of sight) between the computer and display. Setup is simple and usage is seamless because all required video drivers are embedded in the host adapter. After initial software set-up, this device provides a plug and play experience for the user. Our new Quick Link feature allows additional users with host adapters to quickly connect to the device adapter with no additional steps required to “pair” the devices.

This highly secure wireless connection is ideal for classrooms, conference rooms or to display video content from your laptop to your home entertainment system. Two flexible device adapter mounting options are included, a desk mount and a wall mount.
Connector 1:
(1) USB-A Male

Will this work to connect my ipad and/or laptop to a projector?

The 29356 would not work with your iPad, but would work with your laptop as it requires a USB A Type Female connection.

You can use both in the same room as long as you use the pairing utility when setting up the units. This ensures that one transmitter will work with only one receiver.

Hi, if I use 2 Trulink Wireless USB to VGA Kits in 1 room, can the receivers be installed directly next to each other or is there a minimum space to be left between them in order to work probably? Best Regards, Michael

Asked by: Anonymous
You can use two kits in the room as long as you use the pairing utility software during setup. You can operate the kits between zero and thirty feet apart and as long as they are within line of sight of each other.

Part 29356 will work with Windows 7 or Windows 8. You will need the updated driver from our site for a Windows 8 supported driver.

Can you have multiple computers connect at once? I realize it will only display one, but how can you switch from computer to computer?

Asked by: Colin the Intern
You cannot switch between multiple USB dongles. Whoever would be presenting would need to connect that USB dongle into their computer. If you have multiple USB dongles, whoever was presenting would need to disconnect the dongle, and then have the next presenter connect the same or different USB dongle to their laptop.

Asked by: paul
The 29356 would not work with your camera as you would need a USB A Type Female connector for the transmitter. The connection on the Nikon D7000 is a Mini USB B Type.

i have 2 tv in living room and bed room. how this device works? my desktop pc is living room. also is this device works for my laptop?

Asked by: Anonymous
This device will operate within 30 ft and within line of sight. The transmitter and receiver must be within line of sight of each other or the signal will not be sent to the display. The signal will not be able to travel through any obstacles. This kit will work with computers and laptops.
