Why be limited with the number of inputs your TV or receiver has? With this switch, you can plug in more sources than your TV or receiver can handle alone. Add flexibility to your existing audio/video system, or quickly connect multiple gaming systems. This solution is for the a/v hobbyist who wants to take full control of an ever-expanding system while adding flexibility and trouble-free cable management.

Virtually eliminate cable hassles with no more connecting and reconnecting cables. Plus, this selector accommodates DVD players, satellite receivers, game consoles, VCRs, VCDs, laser discs, camcorders, CD players, MDs, and other audio/video equipment. The front-mounted sliding switch enables easy selection of source devices, while the vertical tower design is a real spacesaver. No external power required.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple, but it does what it claims! Old TV failed, so I bought a HDTV that had a single component input. Didn't have the cash to upgrade to a DVR or Blu-Ray DVD player at the time and needed something that would interface three old RCA-type connector technology (from two DVD players and one VCR) into the single HDTV input without cable changing. This selector switch fills the requirement exactly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more switching cables! I now have an old VCR and a Wii each accessible with the push of a button (MUCH easier than pulling out 3 cables and then plugging in the 3 for the other unit - it also avoids stressing the connectors on my TV.) I haven't had it for long so no comment on durability, but out-of-the-box it works great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, works as advertised, at a good price. Dual outputs is very useful. Other products with this feature cost a lot more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works perfect - solution to old VCRs Had relative with 2 old VCR & 1 old DVD plus old (ANALOG) Cable RECORDER BOX (with 129 recordings to view and would not switch to new HD cable box) to integrate into a NEW LCD TV (digital). None of these had HDMI. USED BOX to feed all these into the 3 cable COMPONENT input of the New LCD TV. Worked great for this application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4x2 switch box I use the box to switch the input to the HD TV between a Wii, VCR or HD Camborder. Saves from plugging and unplugging the devices on the TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Connects the old to the new. This switch allowed us to connect our old video player, CD/DVD player and Wii to our new flat screen TV that primarily uses HDMI inputs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DVDs AND non-HD TV Crawling behind the TV to switch wires was a pain. This switch makes it easy - just push the button and choose the video source. When the kids come home at Christmas with new plug-in games they'll think I'm pretty cool!

I have no idea how to set this product. Where am I suppose to plug the TV in so that all the cables will be connected to the TV?

The TV would connect to output 1 or output 2. Your source devices like DVD player, cable box, etc would connect to the input ports on the switch.

I need to have a composite switch that would allow me to have one input and then 2 or more outputs. I need to be able to select which output I want for the output. Can this switch be wired up to work backwards?

Asked by: Winkle
The switch allows up to four inputs via Composite Audio/Video and S-Video while allowing up to two outputs. You can select what input goes to which output. It can not be wired backwards.
