USB-C hub that allows pass through power (TESTED)
The only one USB Type-C hub I could find that allows pass through power.
We were able to connect on the outer USB Type-C device port a power supply and provide power to the host. I tried Belkin F4U090 and Tripp-Lite U460-004-2A2CB and they were unable to do power delivery.
Although not tested, Legrand hub may be able to charge an Apple computer with one USB-C port while allows you to use the other USB ports for your peripherals.
Remember, use the outer USB Type-C to connect a power supply. The inner USB-C and the two USB-A

I can finally get my work done!
Great product and what I needed for my MacBook Air which only has 2 USB-C ports when I needed to plug in my monitor, digitizing tablet and wireless keyboard all while charging the laptop.

Great Company to work with
I needed a way to connect my new MacBook Air with my backup disk that I had and I also wanted to hook my phone up to the Macbook Air so they could communicate. Tom was great and answered all of my questions without making me feel stupid. You know how Techi People can be to us laypeople. Anyway great company and it came before it was suppose to. :-)

Perfect solution
The USB C Hub plugged in and worked. It was just what I needed to be able to have my MacBook Air hard wired to power, the ethernet and an audio interface when the Air has only two USB C ports. Perfect.

To use this I will need an extender cable to reach an outlet. Can I unplug the 6" cable it comes with and replace it with another longer one? If the 6" cable isn't removable, then can I extend it with a USB-C female to USB-C male cable?
No, the included cable must be used as intended for proper operation due to length limitations and capabilities.

I want to use a mechanical keyboard with my iPad Pro. The Pro has one USB C port for charging. Can I power the Pro through this hub & use the 2d USB C port on the hub for a keyboard? i.e., will the keyboard work with the iPad also routed through it?
The Ipad Pro 2020-2021 will support all specs of USB-C. This Hub will support both the keyboard and pass through charging.
