Pre-purchase warning should have been posted concerning not to be used for computer to computer or computer to hub connection. Price was okay, but will need to find way to use cables.

Heavy on the insulation
I purchased two 1 meter and two 2 meter USB cables and so far have only had the opportunity to use one of the 1 meter cables. I have used it to transfer power from a 4.4 watt portable solar panel to a solar battery charger to enhance the charge and it works rather well.

Could I use this cable to attach my windows laptop computer to my Jeep Grand Cherokee sound system that has 1500 songs on its hard disk, and rip those songs off the Jeep system and into my computer?
No. That would not be a use for this cable. It sounds like you would need to use a USB hard drive to export the songs from the sound system.
