Transmit an audio/video signal from a DisplayPort source device over a RapidRun Optical to an HDMI display up to 1000 feet away while maintaining all high speed functionality and displaying resolutions up to 4096x2160 (2160p) at 60Hz. This active DisplayPort to HDMI transmitter can output both single-mode and dual-mode, providing the conversion for a DisplayPort source even when that source does not support DP++. Active DisplayPort conversion is excellent for applications where multiple DisplayPort adapters are required to connect to a single graphics card. This allows every active adapter to interface with a corresponding display.
Conversion perfection Input DisplayPort 1.3 or earlier 24-bit color and 4:4:4 color sampling with data rates up to 5.4Gbps. Paired with an Optical runner of any length and an HDMI receiver, this transmitter actively converts the DisplayPort signal flawlessly to HDMI at 24- bit color and 4:4:4 color sampling with on-chip HDCP 1.4 and HDCP 2.2 keys. Simply stated the image that is being output to the display is a prefect representation of the image output from the source only much farther away.

Simplified Install Installing HDMI at extended range−requires special cabling, or active device boxes which require external power, and in many cases conduit. This RapidRun DisplayPort transmitter can be connected to new source equipment and to the Optical runner which is run in existing conduit as narrow as 3/4" eliminating the need for new conduit to be run. The Optical runner can be connected to any of the RapidRun Optical HDMI receivers to output HDMI signal to the display at the other end of the conduit. Further simplifying the solution, the DisplayPort converter transmitter draws power from the source device to operate, which can eliminate the need for external power or the need to run additional power lines. The RapidRun Optical system simplifies and reduces install time and cost by utilizing any existing conduit and infrastructure.
Note:This transmitter must be used as part of a RapidRun Optical system. Each RapidRun Optical system requires a transmitter at the source end, a runner cable, and a receiver at the display end. A RapidRun Optical system cannot work without all three components.
