The 2-Port HDMI Splitter is the perfect solution for connecting a Blu-ray player, HDTV receiver, DVD player or other audio/video device to two HDMI displays. This splitter supports HDMI features including 4K (4096 x 2160 at 30Hz, 4:4:4) resolution, 3D, Deep Color, x.v. color™, high speed refresh rates and lossless multichannel surround sound. It is HDCP-compliant for full playback of high definition content. This splitter is designed to support 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p and 4K resolutions. The splitter is cascadable up to 3 layers to distribute the source signal to as many as 8 displays.

I'm going from my PC, DVD & Cable to a Onkyo 360 Stereo, which has 4 HDMI inputs, But only 1 output, Now with this Excellent splitter (No loss of Video or Audio), I can use ether or both TVs.. In MY case I use the 2nd HDMI input on the 2nd TV.. I also would recommend C2G cables, as my cable tester [NF-622] shows all there internal wires are connected((No worries, if used on Non TV HDMI Connections, Like Security Cameras)).. Even tho some less expensive cables are good, to many cables had a lot of OPEN connections [NF-622].. This co has quick shipping to Arizona, from my old Home state Ohio..

I use this 2 port splitter to broadcast on 2 additional TVs besides my 24" computer monitor and/or a 50" Monitor, out of my Onkyo Stereo system, and it works great, no flaws.. My Computer also has a TV tuner.. So I can put the Stereo on "Game" and have up to 3 Computer screens or put the Computer in TV mode and My TVs on Cable, and watch up to 3 sporting games..

Hi-Def ceiling mounted projector
My receiver has one HDMI output, and I wanted to use a TV and a ceiling-mounted projector without having to manually switch cables. We get a great picture with this, although it is sometimes a bit slow to detect which device is plugged in.

Worked as expected... once.
Worked as expected, exactly one time. It seems to be well designed, and I give it three stars since it could have been my mistake to purchase this for my purpose, which was to duplicated the public output of PowerPoint onto two different monitors. After the first successful start up, it would only transmit to one monitor unless I put the same output to every display in my system: the control display and the two public displays. Kinda defeats the purpose.

On the Trulink/C2G brand splitter if 4k is not listed or 3D than the splitter will not support the signal.

For a single unit, what is the maximum distance between the source and the splitter, and the splitter and the end device? Is it 50' for each cable run for a total of 100'?

I purchase this device about a year ago. At first it worked fine. Recently, there is no sound on HD channels on tv.What could the problem be? When I by-pass the splitter , the sound is fine. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
I would suggest testing all the cables in line with the splitter. If the cables test fine please contact us for further assistance.

Hello Doug, Unfortunately part # 40471 does not support 3D. You should use this product close to the source (1-3m from the source) and then you can set your HDMI display up to 50ft away from part # 40471. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. 800-826-7904 Thank you, Oshiana

can I use this device to "extend my desktop" over 2 displays. If no, do you have a product that can handle that.
This device will not allow for extended display over two monitors. For that to happen you would need to use two separate outputs from your PC.

Does this splitter support HDMI-CEC? Will my video source be able to put my HDMI-CEC compliant TV to sleep and wake it up again when a signal is available?
The splitter does support CEC. It is simply a pass through for CEC. So if the source and display support CEC, the splitter would pass that signal.
