Does the trick
Even though the sales guy swore on a stack of Bibles that all of the components he recommended for our set-up had all the necessary I/O, it did not.
This adapter saved us on this one.

Simple solution for Lack of input issue
A great product if you have run out of Toslink/Fiber Optic inputs but still have open S-PDIF/Digital Coaxial inputs on your Theater Receiver/computer.
