What does "center booster format" mean? I am using this to relocate my Verison Broadband to Go stick that plugs into a 2.o USB port on my computer for my internet service. I want to put the stick in the attic because I am not getting a good signal where my computer is. Would this be an acceptable method to do this? Will a portion of the signal be lost from the long cord?? Thx
Asked by: gene
This cable will extend the signal for any USB 2.0 Device, however there are some exceptions. Our cable uses some USB bus power to power the extender. This is something that I would ask Verizon to verify if this would work with a cable such as ours.

3m USB 3.0 A Male to Micro B Male Cable. Can I use this 25ft ext cable to extent my usb3.0 cable?? I want to connect my 4tb My Book to my PC which is located across the room.

Asked by: Anonymous
It can extend USB 2.0 and the 3.0 device should function using this cable. However the potential issue is if the drive is powered by the USB the active booster will consume 100mA and there may not be enough power to run the drive. ( please ensure the amount of power the source device provides and the consumption of the hard drive. The other portion is that you will not get 3.0 speeds only 2.0

Can I plug the male USB into the TV an use the female side to plug in a USB flash drive?

Asked by: Brian
That depends on the TV. I would contact the TV manufacturer and verify it will work with a USB hub. If so, it would work with our cable.
