Dear Valued Customers,
C2G values your business and respects the privacy of your information, which is why we regret to have to inform you that between October 18th through October 26th, the computer systems supporting the C2G website were accessed without authorization.
Our records indicate that some customers who placed an order on the C2G website during this timeframe were affected. A vulnerability unknown to us at the time was exploited and intruders with malicious intent obtained a limited amount of customer data including some credit card information.
In an attempt to ensure that customers were not harmed by this intrusion, we notified Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX about this issue. If you were affected, we recommend that you immediately contact your credit card company and have a new card issued.
Furthermore, if you were affected, we suggest that you contact the three major credit bureaus and ask them to place a fraud alert on your account as a precaution. Below is the contact information for all three bureaus.
We sincerely regret the occurrence of this incident and have installed new security measures that we believe will prevent such an event from occurring again.
C2G is focused on delivering extraordinary customer experience and committed to doing everything we can to resolve this issue expediently and thoroughly to reinforce your confidence.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and we again apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused our customers.
