Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cables To Go have quality products and quality people. We have a 2 monitor hook up to each computer. The dvi cable works great in the 6 ft length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Allowed dual monitor setup I bought this to see if I could get dual monitor operation from my HP docking station. It was very easy to install, and after a few display adjustments, went right to work. I am very pleased with the display quality, which I attribute in part to the cables construction. I would purchase this same adapter/cable again for other applications.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work with flux or night light Cable does not work with flux or night light features. Note it does not have all the pins other DVI cables do (this cable is single link), which might be fine otherwise but is the only difference I can think of when a dual-link DVI to Displayport cable works fine.

I know you have stated in two previous questions that this is a passive cable, however, based on the cost and pictures it seems like this should be an active adapter cable. The DVI head seems larger than normal, thus accounting for the power conversion board. This cable would be a much better solution to my hardware needs than a converter and cable so I would like to order if it really is active adapter.

Are your DP to DVI-D adapter cables "active" or "passive" devices?

Do you sell a cable that will connect a DVI video card to a Display Port monitor? We cannot get the 54329 to work in this direction.

We do not have a direct solution however please check out product 54179, this will convert HDMI to Displayport.
