This adapter converter is an ideal solution for adapting the DisplayPort output of a laptop so that it may be connected to a computer monitor which accepts a DVI-D input. This adapter carries a digital video signal, supports up to a 1920x1200 resolution and meets the requirements of high performance applications.

Q:
I'd like some clarification on a few things:
The product title says that it connects to a single link DVI-D cable, but based on the connector guide on your website (http://www.cablestogo.com/learning/connector-guides/digital-video) it seems to match the picture for DVI-D dual link. Can you comment on this? Is the title a potential typo?

One of the answered questions here says:
"Is this bi-directional?"
"This item will only work from a PC's Displayport output to a VGA display."

This is confusing. Would this cable be used to first connect to a DVI-D single link cable and then from there to VGA?
