This Bluetooth Audio Receiver is the perfect solution for adding Bluetooth capability to an audio system such as a home or car stereo in order to stream audio from a smartphone, tablet or other mobile device. Near Field Communication (NFC) allows for a simple pairing process between the Bluetooth audio receivers and a smartphone, tablet or other mobile device. Audio is transmitted from the receiver to the audio system through either a digital audio Toslink output or a Stereo Audio 3.5mm output. Bluetooth technology provides a wireless connectivity range of up to 32 feet.

Works automatically with iMac
I have the bluetooth receiver connected to the auxiliary inputs on a NAD stereo amplifier driving Bose 901 speakers. It picks up music streaming from my iMac computer, about 22 feet away, going through 2 doorways. The signal is strong about 75% of the time, but flutters about 25% of the time. My iPod does better, with a strong straight-line signal upwards of 20 or 30 feet. Also, if the bluetooth receiver is plugged into the AC, and I insert a cable into the bluetooth output receptacle, I can get a loud hum until the cable is seated. Otherwise, operation is simple and it works fine.

A little flutter at 22 feet
My goal is to send music from an Apple iMac to a NAD integrated amplifier driving Bose 901 speakers. The device is cabled to the auxiliary RCA inputs on the back of the NAD amp. The iMac Bluetooth facility automatically finds the device, calls it a Music Receiver, and pairs up with it. All I have to do is play music on the iMac and it comes out of the Bose speakers. The music fidelity is about CD quality. Only drawback so far is the Bluetooth signal starts fluttering at times. Perhaps the 22 foot transmit distance, through two doorways, is too challenging.

Make your old system streaming capable.
Super simple to connect with virtually no set up other than connecting the obvious power cable and audio cable.

I just purchased a VIZIO 60 Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV M60-C3 UHD TV and it does not have Bluetooth, would this give me the capability to do so Thank you in advance
Our device would not give your TV Bluetooth. It will only allow devices to wireless connect to it then output audio.

Can this device receive two audio signals and send both out as one audio signal?
Unfortunately this product is only able to send one audio signal at one time.

Does the unit receive and transmit phone call audio as well, from the smart phone?
THis device will receive any audio from your phone. This would include your calls as well, however the device does not have a miccrophone it will only send the audio.

Is it possible to set unique Bluetooth names/IDs for multiple units operating within the same coverage range, so that 5 could be used for guest rentals? Also, is there a way for the current intended user to force disconnect the last user?
These kind of features are not available on this device.
