Overview
Our TV to PC converter accepts s-video or composite video signals and converts them to VGA HD15 for high resolution image display on a PC monitor. By using this converter, you can display videos, cable or satellite TV or your video game console on a PC monitor. The converter uses the latest de-interlace chipset on the market which enables it to provide a truly high quality picture. No software is required and connecting the device is simple. Within minutes you can be watching your DVD collection, satellite receiver or be playing video games on any PC. The converter has a small footprint which makes it easy to fit in tight spaces and great for traveling. A built-in switch offers convenient switching between devices connected to the converter and your PC. The converter outputs 640 x 480 pixels (VGA), 800 x 600 pixels (SVGA), 1024 x 768 pixels (XGA), and 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) resolutions.

Does what I wanted it to. I split my surveillance camera monitor to older square computer screens I had laying around. The quality of video is acceptable. I am using the rca input and vga output. I have not tried s-video. It helped make use of screens I would have otherwise thrown away.

Will be using this for convention display of video content; PC monitors are much cheaper & easier to pack than TVs. It's better video than I expected since I'm guessing that it upsamples to spread the picture over more pixels than the DVD player is putting out.
Good price, decent quality. You'd probably have to spend a lot more to get a better visual.

I needed to covert composite video output from my wife's new Clarity Flex low vision magnifier. I purchased a 24" Samsung TOC LCD 1080P tv/monitor and wanted to covert composite video on the Clarity Flex to VGA on the Samsung TV/Monitor. I was really concerned about the quality of video after the conversion but it is excellent. I am very satisfied with this product. Very easy to install, instructions are very easy to follow.
