Media Controller Administrator Cable Key

Adapter used with a Control System
(1) USB-A Female
(1) USB Mini-B Male

Product Description

This USB adapter cable acts as the administrator key to allow access to certain functions within a Media Controller. This small cable unlocks powerful functions that save time and money. Within administrative mode, users can upload/download new equipment configuration scripts that allow for easy deployment across multiple controllers as room equipment changes. It also allows access to infrared (IR) programming capabilities, making programming via a remote control hassle-free. Firmware updates can also be made across multiple controllers without the need to remove the controller from the wall.

I want to connect my camera (Canon PowerShot A2300) to my Ipad. Want to take photos with small camera and store on Ipad.
I can use my Ipad charging cable to get from Ipad (lightning) to male USB. Now I need a female USB to a mini for the camera
    connection. Will this work??

This adapter is only for our A/V Controller. For a solution I would consult Apple as we would not carry something for this.

Would I be able to us a USB 2.0 thumb to download files to my mini USB on my Asus Vivo Smart Pad with this cable?

This would not work. Ours is a USB Mini A adapter. The Asus Vivo Smart Pad is USB Micro B.
