No directions or typical hook up connections for various applications. Would be nice to suggest various cable types for different applications. A waste of money for me!

Will this product pass thru DTS cable tv signal from my Misubishi DLP to my Sony receiver? Is there a cheaper or more expensive converter that handles different frequencies? I am using one I got from you thru Amazon.

                    A:

This is an audio only adapter. You would need a device with a TV tuner inside of it like a cable box or possibly a DVD player to go from a coax (broadband) signal to a RCA composite video input. Unfortunately, we do not have a device like that.

This converter is for the opposite direction and will not work for you, Chris from Chattanooga. RCA Coaxial must be coming from the tv to the converter.

                    A:

You would actually need the Optical to Coaxial digital converter (#40019). This will convert that optical signal coming from the TV and then convert it to a digital coax signal. You would also need to make sure to get an optical cable and a digital coax cable if you do not already have one.
