This 25ft cable actively buffers the incoming and outgoing signals to ensure compliance with the USB 2.0 specification for electrical and timing minimums. Designed for use with most USB 2.0 or 1.1 devices like some interactive whiteboards, hard drives and printers. Both low and high speed USB devices will function equally well with this extension cable. The active chip is built into the middle of the cable so you can add a 5 meter USB cable when the active cable is used in combination with a USB wall plate.

Works Good!
I use this to connect computer to Motu MTP/AV (Midi Router). It works good. No lag, stuck or dropped notes. Cables to Go to the rescue again. Much appreciated. Hopefully this cable will last me a long time.

Right cable Right price
I broke my ankle and cannot get to my basement office. I purchased this 25ft cable to connect the desktop on my dining room table to the HP printer in the basement. It works great!! C2G has always done a great job of getting products to my home.

Is this product rated for any in-wall or in-ceiling use? The description mentions that it is ideal for connecting to a wallplate. If used in this scenario, is there a limitation on the length of the patch cable that can be used for connecting to hardware on the other side of the wallplate? For instance, would I be able to use this 12m cable, connect to a wallplate, and then connect a 5m USB cable to the wallplate?
The USB Active Cable is not rated for in-wall use. If used in combination with the USB wall plate, you can add a 5 meter USB cable.

This cable can only be used with the A male attached to your source.

This cable has a bend radius of 5x's the diameter of the cable. The cable diameter is 5mm, so the bend radius is 25mm. We do not have one with a smaller bend radius than that.
