Reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Much Trouble!! I seriously can't recommend this product. After spending about 30 minutes trying to terminate my Cat6 cables, I finally gave up. The contact points where you punch the wires down has a flimsy and poor design. Perhaps if I had been trying to do this on a desk with great lighting and everything right in front of my face, I woulnd't have had trouble. By comparison, the product that I did go with, I was able to do the whole building without a single issue. That clearly tells me it was the product and not anything I was doing.

Questions & Answers

How do you terminate the cable no instructions in packet how does the connector come apart?

Asked by: Anonymous
The shell can be removed from the top of the connector. Then follow the color coordination are on the RJ45 connection and place the wires in the correct position. Then use the lever placing it on top of the wire clamp. Then you press down crimping the wires in place. Then cover the RJ45 block back with the metal shell.
