Rated 5 out of 5 by from We buy more of these when we need them We converted a PS/2 keyboard wedge Barcode scanner to USB. This is great for a PC with no PS/2 ports. We tried 2 other products from other vendors. They didn't work because they didn't complete the keyboard wedge conversion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USB to PS/2 Keyboard/Mouse Adapter cable I have used my full size PS/2 keyboard since for more than 20 years without ever having any problem. After all that time, I have no desire to change to another keyboard. Just bought a new desktop that did not have the "correct" plugin for the keyboard. This adapter works perfectly. Highly recommended if you want to stick with your old, tried and true keyboard.

Hi there, I have a PS/2 keyboard for which I am using a PS/2 to USB adapter with and am experiencing no key rollover, which makes the keyboard impractical for many things. A quick bit of research has led me to understand that in order for this to work, I will require a "converter" or an active adapter (see the attached link). http://www.cablestogo.com/product/32185/1ft-usb-to-ps-2-keyboard-mouse-adapter-cable-black#specs Will this cable do the job for me? Thanks Adam

My goal is to put a new mouse on an old computer to rescue some data that are in an old operating system. If I were to purchase a mouse plus this adapter, I think I'd have it backwards. Wouldn't I need an adapter that has the male end in PV/2 format and a female end to accept a USB connection? Am I out of luck?

You would want our part number 35700, this will convert ps2 to usb as long as the mouse can work with the signal.
